Screams and Thunder
Evil Attack

DEADLY SIN were founded in 1984 in Wuppertal from the line-up above, in the same year they released their private pressed Single "Screams and Thunder". Let's get straigth to the music itself: Both tracks offer very good 80ies Power with an edge of Speed Metal, good guitarwork, the soundquality also is good, the vocals are typical for the german metal of the mid/late 80ies, not outstanding but perfectly fitting to the music. >Screams and Thunder< is more midtempo based with a nice chorus ("...Screams and Thunder - that's the voice of war; Screams and Thunder - pain and death for all...") and a lot of power. >Evil Attack< is pure Speed Metal with some "nightmarish" lyrics (as far as I understand) and this track will not let you sitting still any longer!!
The single has been distributed at live-gigs and around the area of the band, 1000 copies have been pressed and all were sold. This piece of steel really is forgotten, and that's a shame because it's a great example of Killer German Power Metal! The Single is from 1984, but has so much Power it really was ahead of it's time, I would have guessed at least 1986 as year of release.
After the release of the Single the band did two Demo-Tapes, "The Dogs of War" in 1987 and "In God we trust" in 1989 (2nd one with new members: Andre Chollibois - Bass, Markus Laumer - vox). Than the band wanted to add another dimension to their music thru more band-width, therefore a new member was taken into the band (Peter Pallasch - rhy-lead-guit.). That was the last thing that was heard before the band sadly split up.
